Sarah and Brad Engagement Pictures

Congratulations to Sarah & Brad on their engagement! Sarah and I have been friends since our college days. As English majors, we had SOOOOO much to talk about. But I won't bore you with lively discussion on Charles Dickens or our interpretation of Lady Defarge. :)

I'll never forget the day Sarah called me and told me Brad had asked her out on a date. I asked for the details and told her she'd be crazy to NOT go out with him "a few times". And a few times is now turning into ever after! :)

This was such a fun photo shoot! It's not often something goes so wrong and turns into something so right. A broken down car interrupted our hopes of botanical gardens, so I did what I always do - I found a new location and worked my magic! We pulled into Pine Creek Nursery in Monroe and asked if we could do the photo shoot at their beautiful nursery. The owners were so accommodating and even suggested a few picturesque locations! I am so glad we ended up at Pine Creek Nursery! A big thank you to the owners and also to Sarah & Brad who, not only drove me home, but treated us to root beer floats! And yes, my car is now fixed. :)

These photos say a thousand words of their love for each other.

Hunter - Child Portait

Michael and I had a great opportunity to visit some friends in Seeley Lake, Montana. We needed a break before our really busy wedding season starts up in a few weeks. When Shelly and Dan invited us to come, we jumped! We visited Glacier National Park and explored ghost towns in the Montana Wilderness. One day, I walked 20 feet along a stream and felt like I had seen the world!
One evening, while walking in the field and looking at our friends horses, Hunter came outside and started playing. He is only 4! We loved watching him and quickly grabbed our camers and started shooting! I love how dirty his hands were!
